'Workout Marathon' fundraiser to be hosted by Fitness Center

A fundraising “Workout Marathon” will be hosted at the BCMH Rehab & Fitness Center on Monday, Aug. 16, 2010.
The event will be a fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. All the money raised will be donated to the hospital.
“We will actually be competing against Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital to see who can raise the most money,” said Fitness Center Director Pam Dove.
“Although both hospitals will be raising money for the same cause, we will be doing things a little differently than Ontonagon. Traditionally, people collect pledges based on pounds lifted, minutes accumulated during exercise, or a flat donation for participating. Although this is an option for our event, we will also be hosting a Workout Marathon from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 16th.”
