Baraga Conservation District’s annual Tree Sale will be on Saturday,

The spring rally day for women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in
America will be on Saturday, May 17, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in
Baraga. Registration at 9 a.m., program at 9:30 a.m. and will end with
lunch at noon. Registration is $2 and cost for lunch is $3.

Bayshore Veterinary Clinic of L’Anse is collecting donations for
Copper Country Humane Society. Items needed include- dog and cat toys,
treats, food, kitty litter, clean used towels, and blankets. The
clinic also has a collection bin for ink-jet cartridge recycling. All
proceeds benefit CCHS.

WIC services are available at Keweenaw Bay Indian Community Department
of Health and Human Services. WIC is a nutritional supplemental
program for pregnant and postpartum women and children up to five
years old. To be eligible for this program clients must meet income
