Irma Carr submitted this week’s history page feature photo of the Class of 1934. Students are standing in front of the Aura bus that drove them to Skanee High, Carr wrote, and the photo was snapped near Herman Heikkinen’s home in Aura. Uno Saari drove the bus. Wesley Ollila graduated that year, she noted, and was the only graduate from Aura. Students shown above, l-r, are Esther Heikkinen, Emma Heikkinen, Helen Ollila, Wesley Ollila, Helen Salo, Linda Keranen and Carlo Heikkinen. This picture appeared in the Sentinel February 29, 2003.
