Actually, the motorist shown above was comin’ round the head of the bay about 60 years ago when this photo was snapped at the Red Rocks between L’Anse and Baraga. Drivers were afforded a generous amount of room for error back when, illustrated by the distance between the roadway and guardrail posts.
