Tall order

A crew of two takes on a tall order–painting the water tank on US-41 in L’Anse–in this historic photo courtesy of Bonnie Michels of L’Anse. The identities of the men are unknown, but they were likely village employees. The man below is shown using a rope and pulley to hoist his partner to the top. This picture appeared in the Sentinel  January 15, 2003 issue on the History Page.
